Amelia Earhart Was Building a Secret Cabin Here β She Never Saw It #shorts
Sep 11, 2026
Deep in the Wyoming mountains lies Kirwin β an abandoned gold-mining camp frozen in time. In the 1930s, Amelia Earhart fell in love with this remote valley and commissioned a private cabin to be built here as her retreat. But in July 1937, while construction was still underway, her plane vanished over the Pacific. The workers laid down their tools and never came back. Her cabin stands exactly as they left it β an unfinished monument to a lost legend. π¬ We're hiking into Kirwin and 12 other forgotten Wyoming towns in our full documentary β dropping this Friday.
